1. Do NOT walk in dangerous parts of the city alone.
2. Always make sure your tour guide is an official tour guide.
3. NEVER flaunt your money in public.
4. Enjoy the beaches as well as the cultural heritage of the island.
5. Always bring water bottles as tap water is NOT SAFE to drink.
6. If you don't speak Spanish make sure to bring someone that does if you want to get the most out of the experience.
7. Discover the caribbean rhythm of local music.
8. Do NOT always accept the first offer. Look for deals as these are always an option to be found.
